The appeal court sitting in Enugu at exactly 7.04pm 16th of August 2017 has just reaffirmed Dr Victor Oye as the national chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
With three Judges who unanimously ruled against Agbaso and declared all the Applications made by Martin Agbaso and associates dismissed and quashed judgement of Enugu High Court of order of Mandamus by Justice Ozoemena.
Former National Chairman of APGA Sir Victor Umeh in his exact words said “We are not surprised at the outcome from the court of Appeal because the Mandamus Order obtained by the other side stood on nothing. There was no justification for that. It was an ambush of our great party and I am happy that this primary has taken place even before the judgement of the court of appeal. And INEC came here to monitor this exercise knowing that this is the party"
The judgement of the appeal court is victory for Nigeria's democracy and a reflection of the wish and mandate of APGA family to Dr Victor Oye.
Also APGA faithfuls congratulates Dr. Victor Oye, wish the party well and pray that victory finds APGA and particularly Chief Dr. Willie M. Obiano saying he deserves the mandate. They also urge Ndi-Anambra to vote Chief Dr. Willie Obiano in the forthcoming election.
