First time in the history of Ndi-Anambra

The coalition of all the youth bodies in the state bought a nomination form worth 12,500,000 Naira for the incumbent governor of the state.
      The November 18, 2017 date for the Anambra State governorship election is gradually drawing closer. Political parties are getting set to conduct primaries to pick their candidates for the election as Ndi-Anambra are warming up to participate actively in the exercise. The question on the lips of watchers of political events in Anambra State as preparations for the guber poll gather momentum, is whether Ndi-Anambra would give the incumbent Governor, Chief Willie Obiano, the mandate to continue in office beyond March 17, 2018, when his first term would expire?
That is no longer the case following the endorsement given to Chief Willie Obiano by the general youth body in the state. 
The joint youth body in Anambra state under the auspices of Com. Chinedu Obidigwe has on the 7th of August 2017 fulfilled the promise made to the governor of the state. The youth had promised to obtain the nomination and expression of interest form for the working governor of the state Chief Willie Obiano. This act by the youth is unprecedented and while speaking to the Special Adviser to the Governor on political matters Com. Chinedu Obidigwe he made it clear that this kind of act by the youth is what happens when you have a youth friendly governor.
This singular act by the youth has awaken many commentaries regarding the success of  Chief Willie Obiano in the forth coming election in Anambra State and many commentators have spoken of the edge this act by the joint youth has given the incumbent governor of the state ( Anambra state) above his opponents.  

At the Governor’s lodge Amawbia, The United Anambra Youth Assembly (U-AYA), Ebelechukwu Obiano Ladies Movement (EOLM), Willie Obiano Support Group (WOSG), Team Obiano , community farmers, etc presented a cheque of Twelve million five Hundred Thousand Naira ( #12, 500,000 ) to Governor Willie Obiano for his nomination form to run for the upcoming gubernatorial election in the state under the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Besides this expression by the youth in the state, the APGA chieftain has made it known that Obiano has the overwhelming and unflinching support of Ndi-Anambra except for those who are eyeing his seat and as such, employing propaganda to discredit his laudable accomplishments, so as to give the wrong impression that he has failed the people.
His words: “I am from the state and I know what he (Obiano) has done. It is therefore not surprising to me that he has cleared all the awards in Nigeria since 2015 December. He has a galaxy of awards and something you would take away from this is that it is not for nothing that he is winning all these. He has done very well in the area of security. Anambra is the safest state in Nigeria today.
Before he mounted the saddle, Anambra was known for violent kidnappings and all kinds of crime. Then in the areas of infrastructural development, agricultural revolution, industrialization, youth empowerment, he has done so much. The state capital has been transformed.
There are also many innovations he (Governor Willie Obiano) has brought into governance. He introduced choose your community scheme where every community, no matter how small you are, you choose a project that would cost N20 million by yourselves, then the government will make available the money. He has done the first phase. Some chose town halls, some chose pipe-borne water, some chose schools and so many other things, markets and all kinds of things were chosen by various communities according to their needs. Government made available N20 million each to these communities and they were able to execute these projects.
